Dr. Chris Young

Overall health and wellness are important to Dr. Chris. Not only for patients, but also for himself and the team at Aloha Family Dentistry Hawaii. Dr. Chris loves the outdoors and spends his free time surfing or going on adventures with his wife and two boys. Both activities help brighten Dr. Chris’ already positive vibe.

He is a local boy that graduated high school from Mid-Pacific Institute. After moving away from home to complete his undergraduate degree, Dr. Chris completed his DDS degree from Creighton University shortly afterwards. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UCLA before finally moving back to Hawaii. Dr. Chris has practiced dentistry in Kahala, Ewa Beach, and has now settled into Kaneohe as the owner of Aloha Family Dentistry Hawaii since 2019.

Dr. Chris Young has been awarded as one of Honolulu Magazine’s Best Dentists in 2017 and 2019-2023. He has served as the Hawaii Dental Association Treasurer and co-chair of the Membership Engagement Program. Dr. Chris is involved in numerous organizations and dental groups such as ASIRD (the American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry), Hui O Hawaii, Hawaii Graduate Dental Forum (Seattle Study Club), American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, and the Honolulu County Dental Society. Dr. Chris is actively involved in the Young Dentist Group which puts on large public events for foundations such as Give Kids a Smile.

Dr. Kathleen Kujiraoka

Kathleen Kujiraoka or, as we call her, Dr. K, grew up in a small agricultural community in California. She got her undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and went to dental school at the University of California in San Francisco. After a few years of practice, she ended up in Hawaii because of Hope Chapel Kaneohe. Intending to only stay a year, she instead fell in love with Hawaii and its people and has been here ever since.

After starting in Hawaii at Hawaii Family Dental Center, she got her own practice in Kaneohe, Radiant Kaneohe Smiles, which has now joined up with Aloha Family Dentistry Hawaii. She and her staff are enjoying being a part of the team. Our desire is to take the best care we can of you and your family!

She is happily retired.
